On October 3, 2016, at the offices of Fredrikson & Byron P.A., Aaron Tippie will be on the panel addressing Resource Planning for the Midwest for the Renewable Energy in the Midwest Conference. Along with Betsy Engelking (Geronimo Energy), Mike Bull, Esq. (Center for Energy and Environment), and Amy Fredregill (Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System, Inc.), Aaron will be addressing utility business model transformation as well as divergent state energy policies, such as North Dakota's and Minnesota's differing approaches on renewables, cost recovery, and resource planning. 

On October 4, Eric Hansen, PE, PG, will be on the panel addressing Complexities of Permitting Renewable Energy Projects along with John Wachtler (Minnesota Department of Commerce). They will discuss the nuances of the State Public Utility Commission process and working with state regulators in overseeing the process.

The Conference is put on by Law Seminars International, and the agenda includes discussions on federal energy policy developments, and business opportunities and challenges.
