On December 5th, the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) honored Minneapolis senior project manager Bruce Carlson with a Hall of Fame Award at the organization’s 2017 Year End Ceremonies Starr Awards.

Bruce has been an active member since 1994. Over the years, he has been president (2008), vice president, board member, program committee co-chair, legislative committee co-chair, and a frequent presenter and moderator. In 2008 he created the popular monthly morning learning sessions.

The Hall of Fame award recognizes outstanding participation, leadership, and achievement within MSCA and the retail real estate industry. This includes representing the organization as a valuable ambassador and providing mentorship to others to better the industry as a whole. Members must have at least 10 years of service in the MSCA to qualify. In the MSCA’s 40 year history, only 14 other members have been inducted into the MSCA Hall of Fame.

“I am honored and deeply humbled to be recognized in such a vibrant and important organization,” says Bruce. “I have always considered my involvement in the MSCA to be fun and rewarding both personally and professionally. I have developed strong, life-long friendships with so many talented and wonderful people in the commercial retail industry through the MSCA. I am very lucky and blessed. Thank you to all past and present members.”
