Westwood recently appointed Michele Guy, PE, to the position of Phoenix Office Leader, where she will lead local land, power generation, and corridor operations.

Guy joined Westwood in 2016 as a senior project manager for the firm’s solar energy market. She is a registered professional engineer in Arizona and has more than 33 years of project management, engineering design, and land surveying experience across North America. Guy received her BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Guy has worked in diverse engineering fields throughout her career, including aerial cableway design, coastal engineering, land development, and solar power generation. She has consistently held leadership roles throughout her career with several professional associations including Arizona Professional Land Surveyors (APLS), which she continues to volunteer for as the Chairperson of the Legislature and Rules Committee.

Jason McCarty, PE, who is vice president overseeing the firm’s national operations, says “Michele is a great addition to our team. Having previously been president and owner of a land development consulting firm, she has demonstrated strong leadership. Her drive for efficiency and quality client service will be a great asset to both our clients and team as we grow our Phoenix office.”
