Westwood is proud to announce the addition of six new associates who have contributed greatly to the success of the company.
Matthew D. Lee, PE, was recently appointed to serve as Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) office leader. He is a professional civil engineer and project manager who has greatly contributed to the growth of Westwood’s local commercial and residential business since 2015. As office leader he supports the growth of land, power generation, and corridor operations in DFW. Lee received his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is registered in Texas.
Nathaniel H. Viste, PE, is a senior project manager based in Westwood’s Madison, WI office who joined Westwood’s power generation division in 2015. His acute understanding of all stages of design and development for commercial-scale wind and solar projects assures value to Westwood clients. Viste received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is registered in nine states.
Randy Gardner, PE, joined Westwood’s power generation division in 2015. He is a senior project manager in the firm’s Madison office and is responsible for driving new business, operations, and design services to support Westwood’s national wind and solar markets. His leadership and commitment to client satisfaction has made him a key member of the team. Gardner received an MS and BS in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is registered in 12 states.
Randall P. Pogue, PE, serves as the Dallas-Fort Worth land market leader. His 25 years of project management and leadership experience and his position as an elected official of the City of McKinney, Texas has helped Westwood’s team to establish strong relationships throughout the industry and within many Texas communities. Pogue is registered in Texas and Oklahoma and obtained his BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Steve Battaglia, PE, is a wind and solar energy project manager in Westwood’s Minneapolis, MN office. His passion to deliver excellence on his projects and ensure client satisfaction has made him a valuable member of the team. Battaglia joined Westwood in 2010 and has worked on several utility-scale wind and solar projects across the country. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and is registered in Minnesota.
Tom Miller, PE, LEED AP, is Westwood’s water resources manager and is based in Minneapolis, MN. His unique expertise in permitting and technical support for construction and permanent stormwater management on land and power generation projects has expanded opportunities for the firm nationwide. Miller has a BS in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is registered in Minnesota and Texas.
