Bruce Carlson

Senior Project Manager, Commercial

Bruce oversees commercial projects and supports business development for our Minneapolis commercial land development team. He has a long and proven track record as a successful developer, owner’s representative, and project manager leading complex real estate developments throughout the Midwest totaling just less than 1 million square feet of development. His years as a developer give him a unique client-based perspective bringing value, insight, and experience to both Westwood’s clients and the Westwood team.

Bruce has an extensive portfolio of work and his projects have won numerous awards, including: MSCA Best Development Process 2012 for Whole Foods in Edina, MN; 2005 for Argonne Village in Lakeville, MN; and 2003 for Andover Station, Andover, MN; and Best Redevelopment in 2005 for The Shoppes at Lyndale Green. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Bruce is accomplished and knowledgeable in the municipal development process, community and neighborhood support meetings, general commercial real estate development processes, retail development, multi-family development, civil engineering disciplines, architecture theory, and site planning.
