Kari Block, GISP

Senior GIS Specialist

Kari joined Westwood in 2005. As a senior GIS specialist, she manages a variety of GPS equipment and GIS software and educates staff and clients on GIS standards and processes. She has over 10 years of experience working with ESRI’s GIS mapping software and has worked on over 500 different private and public projects around the country. She acquires and analyzes digital data from local, state, and national public and private datasets. These datasets are incorporated with project survey data to create high quality maps for project permits and design and development decisions.  

Kari develops successful solutions for land and energy projects using a variety of mapping applications. She excels at project coordination between office and field staff. Prior to joining Westwood, Kari was employed by two state agencies in spatial analysis, invasive species control, and public relations.
