Ben Blixt, PS

Project Manager

Ben is an enthusiastic project manager and professional surveyor with more than eight years of experience. He has a common sense approach to business, displaying proven fiscal responsibility and logical thinking, and he is always cognitive of the benefits of cost-saving without sacrificing quality or performance.

Ben supports Westwood’s residential, commercial, and power delivery markets, both in the office and on site. His work includes all aspects of land surveying and project management to support all phases of projects. He has also performed several ALTA/NSPS Surveys for large-scale projects including solar facilities for purchase or financing in varying stages of completion, from initial fee purchase to post-construction. 

In the office his work includes: horizontal/vertical control, calculating data for construction and property staking efforts, processing field data, and developing deliverable products such as recorded surveys, dedication/release of easements, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, final/amended plats, grading and drainage design for single family homes, and various exhibits. In the field, Ben establishes horizontal/vertical control for use during the duration of projects, performs topographic mapping, aerial photo control, construction staking of residential and commercial sites as well as wind and solar farms, and research/recovery/remonumentation of PLSS corners.
