Michael A. Banta, PLS

Phoenix Survey Leader, Land

Michael joins Westwood with over 25 years of experience as a registered professional surveyor, with 15 of those years as a registered surveyor in Arizona. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from small to large, complex projects involving boundary surveys and mapping. Mike’s expertise includes title report review; boundary analysis; ALTA/NSPS survey preparation; final plats; legal descriptions; geodetic control for large aerial mapping projects; topographic, boundary, and cadastral surveys; utility location; and right-of-way determination.

As the Phoenix survey leader for Westwood’s land division, Michael leads his survey team in supporting the residential and commercial markets and shares his extensive knowledge and experience with his team. Some of Michael’s notable projects in Arizona include Verrado, DC Ranch, and Eastmark, master planned communities; Phoenix Convention Center expansion; and the Phoenix Sky Train, an automated people-mover for Sky Harbor Airport.
