Silver Crest Office Complex
- Construction Staking
A beautiful office building sits on a site where, “Everything just went right,” as Westwood’s project manager, Will Huston, described Silver Crest Office Complex. The 15,000-SF office building is home to the College of St. Scholastica and the offices of Strack Companies, and greatly enhances the bustling area of Sartell, Minnesota.
Previous Site Experience Streamlines Effort
Westwood had prior experience with the site, having completed a multi-family project adjacent to the property, and prepared design plans for additional multi-family housing for the same client years earlier. Utilities required careful planning as existing infrastructure was upgraded, expanded, and enhanced to meet the needs of the new building.
Managing Many Moving Parts
The project involved complicated detour management around the first-of-its-kind diverging diamond interchange (DDI), which was under construction simultaneous to development of the new office complex. Westwood managed many moving parts on this project to create a very positive work environment and support success for all involved; the client, city, contractors and the Westwood team.
