Overview

Visible from the Community Center, Palm Plaza, and the Splash Pad, and across a small lake is The Eastmark Great Park ® Event Pavilion. The aesthetic pavilion was designed by Tate Studios and the structure serves as a focal point to the park.

The structure is designed to host both small and large events. The north side of the pavilion opens to the lake and has a small stage with a lawn-bermed area which can entertain up to 1,500 residents. The south side of the pavilion is the main stage which hosts concerts and more intimate performances and entertainment. Westwood designed the site for the pavilion, providing seating for 8,000 people on the comfortable 2-4% grass slope.

The landscaping provides a desert feel with mature palm trees and 800-year old Saguaros incorporated into the design. Contrast was important, so a special blend of rock was brought in to reflect the native desert ground plane of the Southwest.

The developer’s close and consistent collaboration among the broad mix of disciplines and team members working on this project resulted in success on all aspects of the Eastmark project.
