Located in Phoenix’s downtown commercial redevelopment district, this project re-purposed approximately eight acres of mixed use land previously occupied by a variety of deteriorating developments. Completion of the development established a new luxury automotive dealership within the City of Phoenix, making a significant contribution to the tax base generated within this redevelopment area.
Working with the City to Speed Development
Due to the large number of entitlement issues, including public street abandonment, parcel consultation, re-zoning requirements, easement and right-of-way dedications, as well as the relocation of existing franchise utilities, a project of this scope would have required approximately 12-16 months to design and construct. However, this project was given a nine-month design and construction completion schedule.
By partnering with City staff to develop a critical work path and associated schedule to accommodate the project’s needs, our team was able to meet all critical dates which resulted in the project being completed on schedule.
