Meet New Westwood Associate Scott Hagadorn

Get to know our newest associates! We are excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

Scott Hagadorn is one of Westwood’s new 2021 associates. Scott, along with 25 other Westwood professionals, were recognized as associates this year for their dedication to leadership and embodiment of Westwood’s core values.

As an engineering manager in Westwood’s Rochester, NY, location, Scott is inspired by Westwood’s encouragement of employees to be innovative. He says, “Westwood empowers their employees to work on new, self-driven initiatives, which can lead to the long-term growth of the company.

“This empowerment, in the face of the unknown, is something quite special,” says Scott.

Scott sees the power delivery industry growing rapidly due to the demands and challenges being presented today. He’s driven by being part of the solution. “The Power Delivery industry is seeing unparalleled growth and engineering challenges as utilities are presented with the need to modernize the grid and meet the growing demand for renewable energy,” says Scott.

“Westwood has the complete set of resources, from substation, transmission engineering, distribution engineering,  environmental, field services, and survey, among others, to provide an all-encompassing solution for large, multi-disciplined power delivery projects. That is an exciting position to be in, and we are motivated to deliver on our client's most challenging projects,” he says.
