The GIS Specialist position will play a crucial role in our team, supporting our renewable energy projects with their technical expertise and innovative approaches to GIS. We are looking for a dynamic GIS Specialist to enhance our team with their expertise in spatial analysis, cartography, and data management. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Spatial Analysis & Cartography: Create, manage, and analyze, and display spatial data using GIS software.
• Data Interpretation & Management: Independently interpret data while maintaining comprehensive documentation. Manage and update existing GIS datasets, ensuring their relevance and accuracy.
• Process Innovation: Proactively challenge and improve existing processes, developing more efficient methodologies.
• GIS Analysis & Product Development: Perform complex GIS analyses using the ArcGIS Platform, creating mapping products that meet project requirements.

Westwood’s growing Geospatial Department provides professional-level products to its clients, leveraging the latest in industry technology. The Senior Remote Sensing Technician is responsible for post-processing aerial data to final deliverables supporting multiple markets and users. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all deliverables created from LiDAR and imagery data from both manned and unmanned aircraft, troubleshooting technical issues, and conducting quality control checks. The Senior Remote Sensing Technician will work closely with Remote Sensing Project Leads and other stakeholders to support the successful execution of projects.

This position will lead a survey team in the field collecting data to support design activities, boundary surveying, providing sketches, and layout to support construction activities.

Civil Graduate Engineer

Westwood Professional Services, Inc has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. A Graduate Engineer is expected to work on a team providing support to a licensed Civil Engineer while learning the company’s standard practices and local agency codes. A large amount of time will be dedicated to becoming proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D. In pursuit of a Professional Engineering license, the applicant needs to be organized, self-motivated, and possess the ability to collaboratively solve complex issues on time and within budget.

The Underground Transmission Engineer will support the engineering and design of underground transmission projects ranging from small assignments to large, complex cable systems. Projects may include new installations, relocations, system upgrades, and underground-to-overhead transitions at voltages ranging from 69kV to 500kV.

This position will support projects from conceptual design and routing through detailed design and construction. Responsibilities include cable-system calculations, duct-bank and manhole design, plan and profile development, technical specifications, and coordination with clients, utilities, vendors, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
