Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create, build, and grow a bridge engineering department.
  • Responsible for structural design of bridges and ancillary transportation structures for TxDot and municipal clients.
  • Field review of existing bridges designated for replacement or rehabilitation.
  • Prepare preliminary bridge design and structure survey reports.

  • Develop detailed system models that accurately represent the plant in design and perform a variety of studies, including short circuit and effective grounding, load flow and reactive power, harmonics, insulation coordination, power and energy loss, concentric neutral induced voltage, arc flash, grounding, lightning risk assessments, and transient studies for switching and overvoltage.
  • Produce written reports conveying study results within the project schedule.

The Senior Project Manager role focuses on client relationships, client growth, and project management. Their business focus is near to mid-term (0-12 months out). A Senior Project Manager is accountable for revenue, backlog, booked new work, and AR goals for their assigned client portfolios and projects. Senior Project Managers are also responsible for team leadership, mentorship, and growth of Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers.

 

Project Management Responsibilities:
• Stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
• Team management and coordination.
• Project planning and monitoring.
• Oversight of projects.
• Oversight of project deliverables (ensure QA/QC checks are complete; ensure deliverable matches the contract).
• Tracking project health and taking corrective action.
• Managing uncertainty and change (ex; scope creep, change orders) and taking corrective action.
• Timely invoicing and AR collection.
• Lead project meetings and deliver presentations.
