Duties and Responsibilities

Work as a senior member of our roadway design team under the direction of various Project Managers. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design of roundabouts, intersections and roadways for various transportation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national standards (such as WisDOT, AASHTO and MUTCD)
  • Manage all phases of roadway design and roundabout projects, including planning and design.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet their needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and project teams, offering guidance and mentorship in roundabout design and engineering practices.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Produce high quality work and implement and maintain QA/QC procedure
  • Oversee the technical aspects of various projects
