Duties and Responsibilities

Billing Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full lifecycle of invoicing, including data verification, invoice generation, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing information.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline billing workflows and enhance system functionality.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to manage billing-related technology projects including ERP enhancements, integrations, and automation efforts.
• Partner with Billing Manager to lead month-end billing close procedures and reporting.
• Partner with project managers, organizational leadership, and other stakeholders to gather necessary billing information and resolve any billing-related issues efficiently.
• Conduct routine review of billing data to identify and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies and/or errors.
• Ensure compliance with Westwood's billing policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulatory standards.
• Become subject matter expert for billing within VantagePoint (ERP system) including but not limited to reporting, project setup, transactions, etc.
• Oversee billing team members communications and offer timely guidance and support.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable inquiries and provide resolution as needed.
• Prepare and provide guidance around lien waiver process as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
