The Lead Power Distribution Engineer will be a part of the electric distribution design team and will be responsible for leading teams that are designing multiple projects ranging from small “quick turn-around” to large complex distribution lines. This position provides the opportunity to grow and directly apply your leadership experience/knowledge of distribution lines to assure the successful execution of a wide variety of projects.

As a Lead Engineer you will guide younger engineers in the application of NESC, NEC, ASCE and other standards of engineering design and will conduct the reviews of, plans and specifications, material lists, and construction documents. The Senior Distribution Engineer ensures compliance with client procedures, design standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and safety code requirements. The Senior Distribution Engineer will act as a mentor to less experienced engineers on their team and, at times, will work closely with engineers performing substation, transmission, renewable energy, power storage, and communication design.
