• Leads the planning and implementation of projects and monitors the operational effectiveness throughout.
• Serves as subject matter expert for survey-related activities such as construction staking, topographic surveying, platting, legal description writing, boundary analysis, and exhibit preparation.
• Understands and applies State statutes, minimum survey requirements, and legal principles to the successful execution of survey projects.
• Evaluates complex property title and boundary issues.
•Tracks and maintains a record of title and boundary analysis, decisions, and issues.
• Works with the Survey Project Lead to define project tasks, schedule, and resource requirements.
• Works with the Survey Project Lead to evaluate project budget, scope, and fee.
• Complies and assists with the enforcement of company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Attends meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project.
• Directs field crews and manages the execution of field survey activities.
• Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment.
• Travels occasionally for courthouse research.
• Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project.
• Leads by example – displays solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
• Provides day-to-day guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed.
• Handles multiple priorities and projects well.
