• The primary focus will be providing Human Resources support to company employees in Colorado and to employees of the Renewables Division in other states.• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. • Learn and implement illustration, design and CAD standards established for the group and be accountable for their proper implementation.
• Build increasing skills in review and interpretation of regulatory codes, ordinances, and comprehensive plans.
• Review and analyze land features relating to opportunities and constraints for development.
• Visit pre-development sites to conduct tree surveys and site analysis used in the design process.
• Develop and refine a design methodology that results in creative, sound solutions to a given problem.
• Build increasing skills in preparing hardscape, grading, planting and irrigation graphics, plans and illustrations using both digital and hand drawn formats.
• Begin to participate in project meetings with staff, clients, & regulatory agencies.
• Consult with product manufacturers to research, evaluate and select construction materials.
• Begin visiting construction sites to gather information and support senior project team members during the construction phase.

• Work closely with Remote Sensing Leadership and Project Leads to meet project expectations.• Perform post-processing procedures according to internal guidelines and industry best practices.• Create final deliverables based on project scope for various markets ready for the client as final deliverables.• Troubleshoot technical issues related aerial datasets. • Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability from junior technicians.• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in remote sensing.• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for aerial deliverables.• Collaborate with software vendors to address issues and obtain necessary support.• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.• Assist with testing and implementation of new software.

The qualified individual will provide field services and office-based report preparation to support the planning, design, and approvals of site improvements for wind and solar energy projects as well as residential and commercial land development projects. Responsibilities will include: 

• initial desktop-level research (photo-review, soils maps, hydrology)
• onsite routine field wetland delineations across the country
• regulatory meetings,
• report preparation
• mitigation design
• wetland monitoring

 The position will involve periodic travel, typically one to two weeks travel monthly, but may be more during the busy portions of the field season. 

• Computer aided design and drafting of all engineering products and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and other drafters to correct discrepancies in drawings and designs.

• Manages land development civil engineering projects efficiently (meets schedules and budgets)
• Leads land development civil teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Coordinates with Owner/Architect and outside team members to execute projects.
• Effectively manages internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology and hydraulics, etc.) – able to communicate/manage technical details as well as schedules and budgets.
• Implements QA/QC program and ensures compliance within project team.
• Works with City/County staff for approval of project plans.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate resources through differing project stages.
• Administers the construction services portions of projects including RFI response, site meetings with contractors, etc.
• Effectively manages up to five (5) assigned technical personnel including:
  • Assigns and oversees project assignments;
  • Reviews work for accuracy and completeness;
  • Trains staff and promotes professional development;
  • Maintains job satisfaction and morale;
  • Assists with performance evaluations; and
  • Recommends compensation adjustments and/or promotions.
