In this role, you will perform activities related to the site design of utility-scale solar projects. This work involves aiding in the design of civil infrastructure such as access roads and work pads. Along with the civil design, other work activities include permitting support and occasional field work.  Senior Distribution Engineer

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer to join our team. The Senior Distribution Engineer is primarily responsible for the cost-effective conceptual and engineering solutions to upgrade, expand, maintain, and automate overhead and underground power distribution systems for our clients using various software systems and engineering/construction standards. The Senior Distribution Engineer ensures compliance with client procedures, design standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and safety code requirements. The Senior Distribution Engineer will act as a mentor to less experienced engineers on their team and, at times, will work closely with engineers performing substation, transmission, renewable energy, power storage, and communication design.
