This position offers the opportunity to perform and direct field studies, desktop reviews, technical studies, and project permitting to a variety of private renewable energy and land development clients. The successful candidate will seek opportunities for growth and work on a variety of development projects across the country. This individual will directly oversee and conduct projects in a team environment, supporting existing cultural resource staff at times and working independently at other times. The Substation Designer would work with our growing Substation Engineering Team to prepare schematic and associated wiring diagrams for high voltage utility substations projects and renewable energy interconnections. The position would require the employee to work with engineers and consultants to create these drawings. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Computer aided design and drafting of all engineering products and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other drafters to correct discrepancies in drawings and designs.
