Demonstrated knowledge of environmental reviews (federal NEPA and equivalent state programs), state site and route permit processes and applications, associated federal and state regulatory programs and permits, environmental and cultural resources desktop and field investigations, and construction-related federal, state, and local approvals is essential.

• Manage the electrical engineering of commercial and utility-scale solar projects, ensuring adherence to project budgets.
• Verify the incorporation of contractual electrical engineering scope into design and coordinate change orders with project managers.
• Insure project deliverable schedules for electrical engineering scope are met.
• Assist project managers in responding to RFPs by preparing proposal scope and fees for the electrical engineering.
• Coordinate with other project disciplines, including civil engineers, geotechnical/structural engineers, and surveyors.
• Schedule and plan necessary resources needed to support projects on a weekly basis.
• Perform and lead electrical engineering design and creation of construction documents for projects.
• Oversee project electrical team resources and be responsible for staff performing electrical calculations and studies.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and code enforcement officers.
• Perform QA/QC of design work performed on projects for which you are the lead electrical engineer.
• Maintain awareness of currently available equipment and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with and support electrical engineering teams in other offices as projects and workload sharing between offices dictates.
• Support construction of projects by responding to contractor and owner requests, including RFIs and submittal review.
• Assist Market Directors as needed for marketing efforts and creation of marketing materials surrounding electrical engineering work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor graduate engineers, staff engineers, and design technicians.

• Direct and provide senior technical review of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and field investigations.
• Analyze environmental and geological data and coordinate with staff to prepare detailed reports, maps, and presentations to communicate findings to project teams and clients.
• Collaborate with project and service managers, engineers and environmental scientists, clients, government agencies and other professionals to integrate geological insights into project planning and design.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards during due diligence and geological assessments and reporting; provide geological insight to teams across various environmental service offerings.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior environmental scientists and interns, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment, and ensuring that proper methods, quality assurance and documentation are performed.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:
