This position will serve as a technical lead coordinating with other Civil and Water Resources Engineers to ensure projects are protected from flooding and meet stormwater regulations. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.


Primary Responsibilities

Job duties include leading stormwater design, watershed permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and FEMA studies using state-of-the-art technology. More specific duties include:

  • Lead the development of hydrologic and hydraulic models
  • Manage and coordinate with civil, electrical, and environmental teams within Westwood
  • Perform and review drainage calculations and designs
  • Prepare and oversee design drawings and design calculations
  • Write and review technical reports documenting design methodologies
  • Lead site visits and inspections as needed
