Projects range from small utility replacement projects to large-scale civic infrastructure programs involving grading, drainage, and utility coordination. This position offers a direct opportunity to apply civil engineering coursework to real-world public infrastructure projects. 

As an Infrastructure Design Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards while assisting Senior Engineers in the preparation of plans, and construction documents. The intern will build foundational proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software used by the infrastructure design team.

Projects range from small right-of-way surveys to large-scale topographic mapping supporting major transportation and civic infrastructure programs. This position offers direct exposure to field data collection and its translation into deliverables used by engineering design teams.

As a Land Surveying Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards and state minimum technical standards. The intern will build foundational proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, other survey software.

The Geotechnical Intern will join a team supporting subsurface investigation and geotechnical engineering analysis for public infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, airports, and municipal facilities for DOTs, counties, cities, and other public agencies. Projects range from routine pavement and foundation investigations to complex slope stability and ground improvement designs supporting critical infrastructure. This position offers direct exposure to the field and laboratory work that informs geotechnical engineering recommendations. 

As a Geotechnical Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards and specifications — while assisting with boring logs, laboratory testing, and geotechnical report preparation. The intern will build foundational skills in soil classification, field data collection, and the engineering analysis software and equipment used across the geotechnical practice.
