Work as a key member of an airport design team under the direction of a Project Engineer/Project Manager. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Research and evaluation of data

• Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including horizontal and vertical alignments; plan and profile; utility design and relocation; streetscape and roadway improvements; signing, striping and signalization
• Prepare construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs
• Coordinate with internal team members, government entities, utility service providers and subconsultants
• Manage task assignments for budget and schedule adherence
• Perform reviews of all work product for accuracy

• Answer and triage incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner while managing the company lobby area.• Schedule messenger pickups and deliveries, and verify monthly messenger billing.• Receive, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail.• Assist project managers with various administrative tasks relating to proposals, contracts, and data entry.• Assist with event coordination for the office.• Handle confidential and non-routine information.• Greet clients, guests, customers, and vendors in a professional manner.• Conference room scheduling.• Additional duties assigned as directed by Office Manager.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks from hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to preparing detailed reports and construction plans. While this role does not have supervisory responsibilities, it offers a pathway to significant professional development within a supportive and energetic team environment

• Spatial analysis is the dominant portion of the job duties envisioned for this position, but will be balanced with a variety of cartography, field staff support, and research and development.
• Provide independent data interpretation while effectively maintaining data documentation.
• Create and modify GIS datasets; manage and maintain legacy GIS datasets; develop and implement GIS-based analyses supporting civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, public infrastructure, and survey projects.
• Produce technically skilled and detailed solutions to include preparing clear, complete, and accurate representations of spatial data delivered via hard-copy and/or web-based platforms.
• Process data and graphics requests from project team members and anticipating information needs and presentation format as part of engineering and survey work-flows.
• You will work on land projects, such as residential, commercial, and public infrastructure, to compile available information fro project needs.
• Develop and maintain geospatial data on desktop and mobile applications. Ensure data meets appropriate data accuracy and content standards for quality assurance and quality control.

• Construction document production support for commercial and utility scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects
• Coordinate with design team disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors
• Utilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc.
• Create wiring/cable schedules based on takeoffs and sizing input from senior and staff designers/engineers
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standards
