The successful job applicant will be part of a dynamic geotechnical engineering team and will assist with the management and execution of geotechnical investigations and design related to renewable energy projects, substations, transmission lines, battery storage, and other power-related projects. Work elements may involve some or all the following: estimating, project management, training/mentoring staff, coordinating field and laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis and design, report preparation, and construction monitoring/observation.  Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations and related design work.
• Participate in geotechnical site investigations, assign geotechnical laboratory tests, analyze field and lab data, and prepare investigation reports.
• Interpret and analyze geotechnical data to establish type, classification and engineering characteristics of materials.
• Complete geotechnical engineering analyses including, but not limited to, bearing capacity, settlement, rotational stiffness, liquefaction, seepage, and  slope stability.
• Manage, supervise, mentor, and train other geotechnical staff, along with fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

The CAD Analyst supports the Digital Delivery team by providing day-to-day technical assistance to production staff across multiple disciplines. This role is responsible for CAD troubleshooting, standards guidance, and support-data maintenance, with the goal of ensuring a stable, consistent, and efficient CAD production environment across the organization.

Working closely with CAD leadership, CAD managers, and project teams, the CAD Analyst plays a key role in supporting company growth by improving support responsiveness, production consistency, and standards adoption. In this role, you are expected to work on a team providing support to a licensed Civil Engineer while learning the company’s standard practices and local agency codes. As part of our Public Infrastructure team, you will be dedicated to becoming proficient in Design Software, performing technical calculations, preparing plans and specifications, and assisting with other project management and engineering tasks. In pursuit of a Professional Engineering license, the applicant must be organized, self-motivated, and able to collaboratively solve complex issues on time and within budget.  

The Substation Senior Engineer - Physical will be part of an electric substation design team and will be responsible for the engineering and design of multiple projects ranging from small “quick turn-around” to large complex substations. This position provides the opportunity to directly apply your knowledge of engineering to design projects ranging from 12kV to 500kV.

As a Substation Engineer - Physical, you will apply NESC, NEC, ASCE and other applicable standards in engineering design and will independently perform engineering analyses, plans and specifications, as well as material procurement and construction documents.
