This position will assist Registered Professional Surveyors by performing field work as a one-person crew or leading a two-person crew, as well as providing office support for project preparation, processing, and drafting. 

The Remote Sensing Project Coordinator is an office-based role that provides technical and administrative support to the Remote Sensing Project Lead across the full lifecycle of remote sensing projects. This role handles initial RFP review, subcontractor coordination, flight release, work order creation and management, and subcontractor invoice approvals, while also assisting with proposal structure and pricing setup, FAA airspace review, and evaluation of technical approaches for new projects. The Project Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Remote Sensing Manager and the Director of Remote Sensing.

Structural Project Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for structural design of foundations and ancillary structures for utility scale wind, solar, transmission line, and substation projects.
• Prepares or directs the structural design reports, specifications, and plans.
• Review and approves project submittals, RFIs and supports field activities during construction.
• Provide professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects.
• Day-to-day support and input to internal and external Project Managers.

This position will require utility research, and survey/utility   locating-related duties and responsibilities in support of project   deliverables. This position will primarily require field work and travel   durations of 2+ weeks.

Reporting to the National Director, Permitting, this role serves as the primary client and agency liaison, directs environmental review and regulatory strategy, leads multidisciplinary project teams, and drives business development for the Environmental service line within the Land Division.

 The Environmental Noise & Acoustics Intern will join an environmental services team assessing sound impacts from utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Projects range from pre-construction ambient noise surveys and turbine or inverter noise modeling to post-construction compliance monitoring for renewable energy developers, IPPs, and utility clients. This position offers a direct opportunity to apply acoustics and environmental science coursework to real-world renewable energy siting and permitting work. 

As an Environmental Noise & Acoustics Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards, including ANSI, IEC, and state and local noise ordinances, in the preparation of noise impact assessments and will assist Senior Acousticians in field data collection, acoustic modeling, and the preparation of technical reports supporting permitting and community engagement.
