• Assist with data processing, interpretation, and documentation, primarily via spreadsheet analysis.
• Conduct desktop noise modeling to support renewables, energy, transportation, and land development projects.
• Perform field measurements and coordinate equipment maintenance under senior staff supervision.
• Prepare technical report/memo drafts to deliver results of analyses, including clear, complete, and accurate data representations.
• Carry out regulatory research (local noise ordinances, general zoning policies, etc.) to identify applicable noise regulations in different jurisdictions.

• Construction document production support for commercial and utility scale energy storage projects.
• Coordinate with design team disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc.
• Create wiring/cable schedules based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers/engineers.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standards.

Work as a critical member of a drainage design team under the direction of various project managers. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform research and data collection.
• Prepare hydrologic assessments to support drainage patterns and storm runoff.
• Prepare hydraulic assessments to support storm drain infrastructure recommendations for flood protection.
• Prepare technical reports to document data sources, assumptions, assessments, results, and recommendations.

• Work with lead design engineers and clients to develop electrical models and studies to support the project design process.
• Develop detailed system models that accurately represent the plant in design and perform a variety of studies, including short circuit and effective grounding, load flow and reactive power, harmonics, insulation coordination, power and energy loss, concentric neutral induced voltage, arc flash, grounding, lightning risk assessments, and transient studies for switching and overvoltage.
• Produce written reports conveying study results within the project schedule.
• Coordinate with internal project leads and project managers, as well as external clients, owners, and related engineers (such as independent and owner’s engineers).
• Review the work of others performing similar studies to ensure product quality prior to client submission.
