Garth brings over 25 years of distinguished engineering expertise to Westwood, joining the organization through the 2017 strategic acquisition of Coursen-Koehler Engineering & Associates in San Antonio, Texas. As a Senior Director of Land Development for the South region, he has played a pivotal role in expanding Westwood's commercial, single family, and infrastructure capabilities since becoming part of the team. Throughout his career, Garth has established himself as a highly-qualified civil engineer with comprehensive experience in project management and complex engineering design solutions.

In his current role, Garth leads land development initiatives across the Southern region, driving organizational growth through strategic project planning and innovative infrastructure solutions. He coordinates critical interactions with local, state, and federal agencies, utility providers, and regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Garth's strategic leadership supports Westwood's expansion efforts, particularly in municipal infrastructure, site development, and comprehensive engineering services. As a shareholder, Garth also works with Westwood’s senior and executive leadership on our strategic business and operational goals.

Garth's professional strengths lie in his exceptional ability to navigate complex engineering challenges with precision and efficiency. He is passionate about sustainable development, particularly in sensitive environmental regions like the Edwards Aquifer area. His technical expertise spans feasibility studies, land planning, utility infrastructure, site grading, roadway and drainage design, water quality, and comprehensive construction management. Garth is dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that balance technical excellence with environmental stewardship and client needs.
