Senior Director, Land Survey

Kris is the Senior Director of Land Survey at Westwood. With over 25 years of surveying experience, Kris leads Westwood’s survey teams supporting renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the country. His technical expertise spans all phases of land surveying, including boundary and ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, right-of-way and transmission line surveys, and project research.

As a Certified Federal Land Surveyor and licensed in ten states, Kris has supported some of Westwood’s most significant renewable developments, including the Bellefield Solar project in California, Cedar Springs Wind Farm in Wyoming, and the Great Northern Transmission Line in Minnesota. He is highly experienced in retracing original government surveys and managing large-scale subdivision efforts across complex project sites.

Kris is also a shareholder at Westwood and is known for his meticulous approach to survey coordination and quality. His leadership continues to strengthen Westwood’s geospatial capabilities across the renewables sector and beyond.
