Prior to joining Westwood in 2015, Matt supported the design and construction of over 34 solar projects across North America and a wind plus battery storage project in Hawaii. Since joining Westwood, he has provided leadership for Westwood’s growth of field-based engineering services within the power industry.
As the Power Division’s field services director, Matt oversees a multi-disciplined team of managers, field engineers, and specialists supporting the design and construction of nationwide wind, solar, energy storage, and power delivery projects. With services that include foundation load testing, subsurface utility engineering, and construction quality management, his team leverages technology to tackle complex problems in the field and provide rapid and quality solutions for our clients.
Matt also leads the development and deployment of Westwood’s GIS-based construction tracking platform. Utilizing field-based iPads, drones, advanced GPS, and cloud storage, the platform provides project teams with real-time visibility of progress tracking and data collection on power projects nationwide.
