Aerial Survey and M4 Line Modeling

Acquired LiDAR for and developed Method 4 PLS-CADD models for entire 4,800-mile transmission system. All structures, including wood poles, steel poles, and lattice towers were modeled as Method 4 to match existing survey conditions. Over 750 PLS-CADD models will be developed across 345 kV, 161 kV, 69 kV, and 34.5 kV voltage classes. All modeled circuits are integrated with PLS-GRID to offer full scale mapping of the transmission system. Additionally, new plan and profile drawings, clearance analysis reports, and thermal rating reports were developed to provide insight on asset conditions.
