Amazon Delivery Stations - Planning/Landscape Architecture

Location
Fort Worth, Texas
Client
Amazon
Scope

Our team at Westwood provided civil site design services for two Amazon Delivery Stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. For DDF5 in North Fort Worth, spanning 63.7 acres, our scope included extensive landscape architecture design, berm grading, and native plantings to preserve existing trees and enhance sustainability. We collaborated closely with MEPs to plan for future EV charging stations in the parking areas. At DDF6 in South Fort Worth, part of the 236-acre Risinger Industrial Sector, we conducted large-scale master-planning, designed off-site infrastructure for roadways, and balanced parking needs with delivery truck queuing lines. These projects contribute to Amazon's innovative logistics network, facilitating efficient short-range deliveries between fulfillment centers and customers' homes in urban areas.
