Scope
Civil engineering for a 260,000 SF, 5-story dormitory with 350 beds, dining hall, recreation center, outdoor activity area and 1-acre feature pond.
Roles
- Innovative site design for future parking garage, including sloping first-floor approach to minimize earthwork and storm drainage piping
- Berm design adjacent to volleyball court for safety and site functionality
- Site grading and multi-level finish floor elevation coordination
- Coordination with university officials to align amenity spaces with project requirements
- Integration of design concepts from previous campus housing phases
- Design and re-shaping of the feature pond for unique outdoor amenities
- Civil engineering design for student housing, dining hall, recreation center, and outdoor activity areas
