Terry Van Hout Joins Westwood

Westwood is thrilled to welcome Terry Van Hout to the team. Terry is a professional land surveyor with over 20 years of experience. He will support Westwood’s land surveying team as a survey service leader from Westwood’s Appleton, WI, office. Terry will manage land boundary-related services for projects while building lasting relationships with employees and clients to ensure project success.

Terry brings extensive experience to the team. He has supervised and coordinated field crews, assisted in the development and preparation of right-of-way plats, certified survey maps, and ALTA land title surveys. He has also completed numerous field surveys for the design and construction of major transportation projects, such as bridges, highways, and airports.

Before joining Westwood, Terry worked with public and private sectors as a professional surveyor. He also owned his own survey business for six years.

Terry holds an AAS in Civil Engineering Technology/Public Works Construction from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and a PLS license in Wisconsin. Terry was the 2019 President of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (WSLS) and has been the recipient of the WSLS Presidential Award multiple times.
