Tim Barfield
Tim serves as the Senior Vice President of Westwood’s Program Management team, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry and 15 years in government, law, and healthcare. He specializes in managing complex programs across diverse sectors, in education, infrastructure, environmental, and disaster recovery. Tim’s comprehensive experience spans many aspects of business and government, including board, executive, and cabinet level responsibilities in legal, finance, strategic transactions, joint ventures, economic development, project development, and workforce development.
Tim joined Westwood through the acquisition of his company, CSRS, in June 2025, viewing the partnership as an opportunity to combine Westwood’s technical expertise, innovative methods, and resources with expanded program management capabilities for clients.
Previously, Tim held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Louisiana’s Department of Revenue Secretary, Executive Counsel to the Governor, and Executive Director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission. He also led publicly traded companies in roles as president, chief operating officer, chief development officer, and general counsel, and practiced corporate law with a national law firm. As an active community leader, he has served on the boards supporting education, research, healthcare, and community nonprofits.
