Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicating and collaborating with project managers, engineers, clients, and government agencies to conduct critical environmental issues analyses following industry and company standards. This may include:
  • Field delineation of wetlands and other waters of the U.S.,
  • Section 404 permitting through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
  • Conducting tree inventories and preparing tree preservation and mitigation plans,
  • Preparing stormwater pollution prevention plans and conduct stormwater inspections,
  • Conducting water and soil sampling,
  • Conducting Threatened and Endangered species investigations,
  • Conducting cultural resource inquiries,
  • Conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments,
  • Utilizing ArcGIS Pro to prepare GIS-based exhibits and data management,
  • Utilizing GPS and GNSS units for field surveying and mapping,
  • Function as support staff to existing business lines (land development and oil & gas).
  • General project assistance for report preparation, peer-reviews, technical writing guidance, GIS support, and organizational assistance to meet strict deadlines.
  • Supporting projects for different markets within Westwood – aviation, land development, renewables and public infrastructure.
  • Ability to work in the office and out in the field during all times of the year.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
