Dan Beckmann, PE

Dan has been a cornerstone of Westwood since 2005, starting as a construction field engineer. With a diverse background managing land development, renewable energy, and power delivery projects, he has consistently demonstrated his value to our organization. Dan's leadership journey began in the field, where hands-on experience in troubleshooting construction and engineering challenges laid a strong foundation for his future roles. He was instrumental in building what is now our renewable energy division and previously led our power delivery team, where he organically expanded the team’s capabilities and geographic reach by integrating a strategic acquisition.

As the Senior Vice President of Renewable Energy, Dan now leads a team advancing wind, solar, energy storage, and emerging solutions like hybrids, microgrids, and clean hydrogen across the US. His extensive experience, leadership, and passion for renewable energy continue to propel our organization forward. Dan's dedication to innovation, client relationships, and excellence keeps our team at the industry's forefront. He fosters unity and alignment across the organization as a culture leader and senior leadership team member. Beyond his professional achievements, Dan actively contributes to the Westwood GIVES board, reflecting his dedication to our team and community.
