Meet New Westwood Associate Brian Wilson

Get to know our newest associates! We are excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

Brian Wilson, Senior Project Manager, Land Residential at Westwood, is nominated as a 2021 associate. He joins 25 of his colleagues in earning the distinction given to employees who dedicate themselves to leadership.

Brian is located in Westwood’s Englewood, Colorado, office. He views mentorship as an important role in leadership at Westwood, and he is committed to mentoring his team for success. “I show my commitment to Westwood’s core values by empowering my team to take the next step in their career by mentoring them and guiding them to grow,” he says.

He continues, “Showing a positive attitude and good work ethic can really have an impact on your career success, so I always exude that as an example to my team.”

Westwood’s mission of “solutions for your success” has motivated Brian in his role. He believes in the mission from a personal and client standpoint. “Westwood’s mission is powerful because it’s about solutions for everyone involved: employees, clients, and the communities we impact,” he says.

“By investing in employees first, we can better serve our clients and our communities because we feel that we, as employees, are a crucial part of that mission,” says Brian.

Brian offers his advice for employees early in their careers at Westwood, whether on his team or beyond. He says “My advice to a younger employee is to always be proud of your work. If you have pride in your work, it shows in the quality of the end product.”
