Meet Westwood Associate Jon Poll

Get to know our newest associates! We are excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

Jon Poll is one of Westwood’s new 2021 associates. Jon, along with 25 other Westwood professionals, were recognized as associates this year for their dedication to leadership and embodiment of the Westwood core values.

As a land residential project manager in Las Vegas, Jon takes immense pride in being a leader at Westwood. He uses every opportunity he can to incorporate Westwood’s core values in his work. “We are continually working on our communication with others, and in turn, nurturing one of our key core values – relationships. The strength of our relationships helps encourage us to grow and be more innovative,” he says.

To Jon, Westwood’s mission is a powerful one, and it keeps him motivated for his teammates and for his clients. “It is not specific to the success of our clients but to everyone involved,” says Jon. “This is one of the greatest rewards as a manager at Westwood – seeing the evolution of our people and our projects,” he says.

“My passion comes from seeing our teams grow and our projects prosper. I want to see that my team is challenged, achieving their goals, and happy with the work they are doing,” says Jon.

When asked what advice he could give to a younger employee, Jon emphasized the importance of knowing your goals. “There is so much opportunity for growth within Westwood. Look for those opportunities and integrate those goals into your growth plans so your teammates can help you achieve them,” says Jon.
