Micah Beard Joins Environmental Team

Westwood has hired environmental scientist Micah Beard to support environmental services for wind, solar, pipeline, and electric transmission.

Beard brings 11 years of experience in regulatory permitting, environmental assessments, due diligence reviews, wetland delineations, and has conducted hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on a variety of property types. Beard will support projects nationally from Westwood’s Dallas-Fort Worth office.

Director of environmental services Eric Hansen says, “Micah’s understanding of the regulatory and permitting process, backed by solid experience in natural resource assessments, adds a lot of value to our wind and solar clients as they look at new greenfield developments. Micah is a great addition to our team.”
