Meet Westwood Shareholder David Wirt

Get to know our newest shareholders and associates! We're excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. 

“There are two things I enjoy most about my work – solving problems and building relationships, teams, and individuals. Westwood allows me to do both,” says new shareholder David Wirt. “I take pride in seeing my clients and my team succeed. As a shareholder I have more responsibility to make it happen.”

David started at Westwood as an intern in 2010. In his tenure, he’s worked on commercial, residential, solar, and wind projects. He also spent four years working in our Dallas-Fort Worth, TX office to support the team growth there. Through all this, he says, “I’m thankful that I have had the opportunity to cultivate a list of high quality mentors who have helped me on my journey from intern to shareholder and all the steps in between. I know the value of putting in time with young staff because of those mentors who invested their time with me.”

David values initiative. “We want to empower people who have creative, innovative ideas to step forward, share their vision, and help progress the company to better serve our clients. And that all requires initiative.”
