Meet New Westwood Associate Chris Foley

Get to know our newest associates! We are excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

Chris Foley is one of Westwood’s 26 associates in 2021. Chris joins his colleagues in earning the title of associate for his dedication to leadership and embodiment of Westwood’s core values.

As a survey service leader in St. Cloud, MN, Chris says he is thankful for joining Westwood. “Westwood has been a great fit for me. As an associate, I know that I am trusted to represent Westwood's vision and values with our clients and within our communities,” says Chris.

To Chris, Westwood is an exciting place to work because of the opportunities to grow. “Westwood is doing really big things. All of our teams are filled with people contributing and collaborating for project success,” says Chris.

He continues, “A leader should be aware of their team member's skills and career goals and find project roles for them that utilize those skills while fostering their growth.”

Chris offers advice for people early in their careers at Westwood, “Invest time in developing your skills and don't be afraid to fail. Find the things you excel at and fine tune those skills.”

“As Westwood grows, there will be many chances to grow into a really satisfying career. Be sure to let the annual growth plan serve as a platform to let your supervisor know what you want out of your career here at Westwood,” says Chris.
