Meet New Westwood Associate Evan Zik

Get to know our newest associates! We are excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

Evan Zik is one of Westwood’s new 2021 associates. Evan joins 25 other Westwood professionals recognized as associates in 2021 for their dedication to leadership and embodiment of the Westwood core values.

As a field services manager in Denver, Colorado, Evan is excited to continue supporting Westwood’s growth and the growth of his team as an associate. “I work in a relatively new team at Westwood, so I am very dedicated to the team’s growth and ensuring we can meet our client’s expectations,” says Evan.

To Evan, being a successful leader means pushing forward in the face of uncertainty and collaborating with his teammates to find innovative solutions. “If you continue to go above and beyond, clients will continue to return,” says Evan. “Westwood will keep growing and expanding, gaining new opportunities if we continue to exceed expectations.”

Working in the renewables industry is something that motivates Evan in his work, and it is why he thinks Westwood’s mission is a powerful one. Evan says, “I love working in the renewable energy industry. I feel that Westwood is very passionate about changing the world for the better, and I’m excited to be part of it.”

Evan emphasizes building relationships with teammates as advice for younger employees in field services. “Develop relationships with everyone you can. Ask to sit in on meetings to get to know people,” he says. “When you get to know people, it makes it easier for them to collaborate with you on exciting projects to keep moving the needle.”
