Meet Westwood Associate Jason Gabriel
Get to know our newest shareholders and associates! We're excited to have them on our team and helping to lead Westwood forward. The Associate designation at Westwood represents a team member who provides considerable value to the firm through their leadership traits and technical expertise.

My name is Jason Gabriel. I'm the San Antonio service leader for survey for the Land Division, here in San Antonio, Texas. I started at Westwood in January of 2017.
What I enjoyed most about working at Westwood are the people I work with day to day. Of course, when we get together, we're able to hammer out quite a few things, get projects moving along, get a strategic planning going. And then after hours we really get to know each other, have some fun.
Around the office, I believe I'm known for my high confidence; socially, known for the storytelling. I always have some anecdote from my family, or the places that I've worked such as Antarctica. The guys get a kick out of hearing those stories, when I was down south 20 years ago, freezing my butt off in the cold.
To be named an associate, I believe it really speaks to the quality and integrity of the San Antonio South regional team here at Westwood, from the surveyors to the engineers, and everyone in between. It really speaks volumes about the corporate leadership that we have that allows us to get out there, try, fail at times and be able to learn from those failures, and ultimately succeed in everything that we have passion for.
